I tore ligaments in my ankle playing basketball and I asked Jan to use Reiki to try to relieve the pain, speed up the healing process and reduce the swelling. To my surprise, after only fifteen minutes, it worked and the mobility was improved too. I felt very relaxed and had a very deep sleep that night, in fact, I had to go to bed earlier than usual but it was worth it. Until then I had no knowledge of Reiki but find it fascinating and I could actually feel the process happening when she was working with my injury. She also showed me how I could sense my own energy field between my hands.

I first knew Jan from her Banking days and then heard that she was giving taster sessions of Swedish Massage and Reiki at her house for the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Dorothy Dobson Exercise Classes. I had experienced both of these treatments before and, as I had some bother with my back, I went along for some help. I saw a great improvement after this session and decided to make it a regular thing. The combination of the two treatments gives total relaxation and I feel fabulous afterwards. I sometimes feel so very light, floaty and peaceful that is seems I am not on her couch at all!. More recently I accidentally twisted my knee and asked Jan to help me again and that too was successful. I have recommended her to lots of my friends and passed on her brochure because I am delighted with the service provided. Jan is very professional and keeps records of my treatments on her confidential consultation form which is completed on the first visit and updated each time. This experience is beneficial and wonderful whether you go for massage, Reiki or both. You can take my word for it!
