The amazing world of Reiki chose to enter my life in 2002 when I was going through what you would call a very hard part of my life. I was struggling emotionally and felt lost in a way that I didn't know where I was going in life. Life’s struggles and losses caught up with me and hit me hard. I tried everything from acupuncture to hypnotherapy to help me deal with certain aspects. They worked but just short term then I came across a leaflet that read “ Freedom for you... Reiki - let Jan give you some slow time with Reiki”. I thought why not so I called and I knew instantly while talking about some of my problems with her over the phone I was to meet and have a treatment. Wow, one session with Jan really transformed my life. Jan explained thoroughly what Reiki was all about and I was very intrigued. The session itself was beautiful and after what was time-wise only about an hour or so, I felt like I had slept for a few weeks and I wasn't even asleep. It was the most relaxed I had ever felt. The tension lifted and doors started to open for me. I have an outlook on life that what is meant to happen is meant to happen and for a reason, and then Reiki entered my life. After a few sessions and a few interesting chats with Jan I decided that I would like Reiki to be in my life and that I would love to work with it. That choice is definitely one of the best choices I have made in my life. Jan held the Reiki one workshop in her home with a few other people and we were then attuned to the beautiful energy of Reiki. The feeling of working with Reiki is hard to describe but the feelings of love, peace and balance come to mind. I am now attuned to master level and I love healing with Reiki, I even helped my Dad get in touch with Reiki. Reiki has changed my life in many ways and so has Jan. I look at life from a different angle now and Reiki has also opened a lot of other doors for me. Jan is so caring and thoughtful and full of life and I thank her so much for helping bring Reiki into my life. Thanks Jan x

“Reiki and Me”
I have known Jan for approximately 5 years now, she’s a very warm, welcoming, caring lady and a good listener. I pop along to Jan once a month and we discuss how I feel, if I have any problems, ailments etc, it’s noted and then I have my Reiki. I sometimes feel tired afterwards, but I go home and jump into my PJ’s and relax. I always enjoy a good night’s sleep! The next day I feel so good and rejuvenated! Reiki for me is wonderful, I feel it has made me a different person, I’m much more calm and content with life, nothing seems to phase me anymore. Problems I experience don’t hang around for long. I have learned to let go of the past, it’s all just a fab feeling!! An experience of coping with it all was my marriage breakdown a few years back, a major upset for me and my children but I know that without the Reiki and Jan’s support it wouldn’t have been so easy. Don’t get me wrong there were loads of tears, but I felt in control of myself and my life, a first in many years!! Reiki has taught me how to look at life differently, I believe that our lives are laid out for us, chapters close and new ones open. Live for the moment, look after your health and most of all be happy!
